This notice explains how Craig Ashley Admans ("we") handles personal data when you use Sanctuaria. We are the data controller for this data.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (email, login credentials, sanctuary name) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Game data (saves, creatures, progress, friends, trades, gifts, leaderboard scores) — to provide the game and social features (contract).
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (contract / legitimate interests).

Sharing

• Service providers who host and operate the Service on our behalf.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities where required by law.

Other players can see your sanctuary name, island, creatures and scores through visits, friends and leaderboards.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential browser storage only, to keep you signed in and remember settings (such as sound and tour progress). We do not use advertising cookies.
